About the book
The Alchemist
by Paulo Coelho
Santiago, a young Andalusian shepherd, leaves Spain after repeatedly dreaming of a treasure near the Egyptian pyramids. His journey takes him through North Africa and across the desert, where he encounters a series of people who help him understand ideas about destiny, intuition, courage, and pursuing one’s “Personal Legend.” What begins as a search for material treasure becomes a spiritual journey about listening to yourself and recognizing what truly matters.
